Thank you @musiclover, I’m very pleased.

There were 3 videos, recorded separately with Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
As far as I know, “acapella” doesn’t work on Samsung.
So I put the 3 videos together on the PC using “VSDC Free Video Editor”.
I would like a simpler solution, but I haven’t found anything yet.

@The_Bumble_Bard Oh, turn off the fan before recording! A familiar problem.
    But I don’t have a fan, I have a wall clock.
I have to take the clock out of the room because it ticks louder than the U-Bass.

I couldn’t have done anything in three days. I started working on “The Hourglass” on September 15, when it was posted on YouTube. So I had 18 days. In addition, I recorded at 75% speed.

If I think about it… At 100% speed, and even while waiting for pizza, my entry would most likely be similar to yours 🙂

And here I have a question: what would happen if you reduced the speed to 75%?

    Thanks @andrew!

Yes, I changed the electric guitar solo a little.
The semitone bend seems to me to have worked out quite well.
Bend by a whole tone… What can I say… 🤔 The maximum I got was a three-quarter tone. And I decided that the slide was more reliable.

Special thanks for the notes for the guitar and piano parts in Soundslice. I’m always interested in what’s going on there, but I can’t always hear the details.

    Thank you, @leb397! I’m very pleased 😊

    And once again without AJ.
Actually that’s not entirely true, I had AJ in my headphones 🙂

Thanks for listening and good luck, everyone!

Thanks @Andrew. I understand your idea with the division into two independent pieces 🙂

I have a different question. When I combined the two parts into one, I thought about Etude 32. There we also played the theme at different tempos.
I thought that since we are changing the key from C to F, and I am changing the structure (separating the melody and chords into different instruments), then changing the tempo seemed like an appropriate idea to me. But it looks like something went wrong in this case…
Was the fingerstyle part too long, so that it could no longer be called “the first run of the theme” or was the change in tempo between parts too abrupt? Or something else?
What do I need to pay attention to if I want to change the tempo within a piece like in Etude 32?

@Andrew, thank you for the feedback 🙂 I’m glad you liked what I did .
I always look forward to your comments 🙂

You have already recommended me several times to work on the tempo. ..
I don’t know where to start. I’m afraid there will be a lot of letters.

In fingerstyle, I worked with a metronome, I increased the speed from 75bpm in steps of 5bpm to 110bpm in two weeks. 110bpm turned out to be critical. I turned off the metronome and recorded what I had.

I worked on the duet mostly without a metronome, but for technical reasons it is easier to record a duet with a metronome. I turned on the metronome at 155bpm, recorded what I had, the result satisfied me. What do I want to say? I spent much more time on the fingerstyle than on the duet.

There is a phrase in the rules of participation that I like : «Use this challenge to help you set goals and complete them by a deadline»

I have no goal to increase the tempo to 100%. My goal is to stop the increase of tempo before I lose control and everything falls apart.

The fact that the duet turned out at the right tempo is pure coincidence. I could play a duet at the same tempo as the fingerstyle, which is 110bpm. To be honest, I don’t want that at all. Raising the fingerstyle tempo by another 45 is very problematic at the moment. But that is another story 🙂

And again “The Chicken”, this time with drums from the app “Drumgenius”, track “Funky 15”, which refers to Peter Erskine.
What can I say. It’s tricky.
    It’s slow, at 60%.
Not everything worked out the way I wanted it.
And yet, here’s what I got.

    Have a nice day!
