I have learned so much with the challenges and feel each month has given me more confidence. I apologize up front – I created a duet with In Hall of Mountain King and it isn’t perfectly in synch. I’ve never done a video like it before so “check” for another new experience. Lots more to learn and room to improve… Thank you Andrew for all your comments. KUDO’S TO ALL FOLLOW ENTRANTS – SO IMPRESSED WITH YOU!

Congratulations on engagement. Anxious to hear it. I too am torn. Not “excited” about a couple but need to start practicing asap!
Good luck everyone. Still want to learn other Beatles songs. Not enough time in my day 😩May 25, 2022 at 9:54 am in reply to: Participate in the May 2022 Member Challenge – WIN $6,000 Kanile’a Ukulele #52012

SO Hard to record something decent . Another challenge for me and room for improvement. Comments welcomed. I’ll practice more but second half of May leaves little time. BTW I couldn’t get the tempo with my thumb for the “trumpet solo” so I used staccato technique I learned in April challenge Minuet in G. Louisa

Everything about this was a new challenge for me. Recording, memorizing a long piece, posting to YouTube and so much practice. I used the base track but hard to hear and I had trouble hearing as I played. But I recorded both speeds at 75% and full. I have much more practice ahead. I admire all who have posted and make it look so easy! Thank you Andrew for great challenge and Kanilea and Uke Republic for this incredible chance to win. Louisa

leb397ParticipantHow do we make a mp4 small enough to upload. Struggling to post my video

leb397ParticipantI am going to attempt the challenge for the 1st time. I have been practicing daily and maybe by the 30th I can post for first time. Working on minuet in G. May have to play at half the speed. I’m a lefty and play right handed. Everyone who has posted so far sound great! Really like your teaching Andrew. I think the hardest is keeping time between a few bars- 17, 21, 29. I’m sure I’m not a alone for a beginner. Wish me luck! Louisa
