Everyone is off to a great start! @the_bumble_bard, love that you are showing your progress and shared the “goofs” we all try so hard to hide and STILL it was good. It’s a hard piece and think @andrew should list it as advanced (ha ha).
I chose God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and got a head start in November with LOTs of practice. Memorizing this was probably the hardest I’ve done and strumming with thumb may seem easy but to make is sound decent … it wasn’t. Anyway – kudos to the song choices for December and thank you @Matt for this arrangement and I might even work on @Steven “Nutcracker” arrangement if I get time. 🙂@the_bumble_bard if you only knew the struggle 😆. I try. Wish more players shared their tech. OR need to hangout with some tweens. Enjoying your “loopy” journey

🙂So impressed with entries and the stories behind Zelda. I wasn’t that familiar and did a bit of research. Music is so amazing.

Louisa@smokealot, I remember this Ted talk. It is just one reason I play with the Uke. I have no goal for Carnegie Hall but the joy of accomplishment is all mine.
Everyone is on a different path @the_bumble_bard states. Practice is time spent. “Obligations “ get in the way, work, family, to do lists and then you have age – parts take longer to learn. I’m at a place in life, retired and just love learning some new song. I play for me rarely in front of anyone. (except my recordings on RC101)😆

Happy Halloween Uke friends. So impressed by entries and the struggles we all battle. BUT broken, smashed fingers get extra kudos and then there are the distractions of cats, dogs, birds. I just love it. Thank you @andrew for the challenge. Louisa
