lisadmhParticipantFor what it’s worth, I’m cheating on the bars up that high on people are strange. I’m two stringing everything as I can’t get all three. Don’t be a cheater. Don’t be like me. 😀😀😀

lisadmhParticipant@Annemarie, no shame in slowing it down. I’ve entered almost every challenge and there are maybe two I’ve reached full speed on. I’ve never been called on it. Slower and cleaner is better than fast and messy.

lisadmhParticipantWoo hoo, thanks boss!
Joe, the banjolele is tuned the same as the uke so it works fine. It’s a little more mellow than it would be on the banjolele I think, but I won’t be able to confirm until I win this month’s challenge. 🙂

lisadmhParticipantWhat is it about the camera that makes me awkward and uptight every time? I can play it faster and more comfortably and more chill than this, but not with the camera running. I should probably wait another week before recording but it’s flowing so well without the camera…
This technique felt super awkward the first couple of days but now it feels totally natural. I would never have gone looking for a song like this bit I quite love it! Thanks for shaking things
Without further ado…. Here’s where I’m at.

lisadmhParticipantIt’s only day 2 and I’m already working on the advanced version of Cornbread and Butter Beans. I’m terrible, but I think I’ll get it.
I love you, RockClass 101, for always introducing me to new things I would never think to go looking for and pushing me to learn… And laugh. Yet another fun one!

lisadmhParticipantBecky, I don’t see why you couldn’t adapt it to work for you. As long as you get a similar sound, I’m sure it’ll be great. Try the course and see how it goes!

lisadmhParticipantThis is an unexpected twist, but I’m in. It’s a fabulous course and all new stuff. I’ll do the easy version of Shortnin Bread I think? Or Cornbread? The challenge will be to loosen up. I’m always so tight and this requires loosey goosey.
A message from my boyfriend: For the love of god, please teach some AC/DC. 🙂

lisadmhParticipantHolly, amazing! A clawhammer original, you’re ahead of the game. That’d be a great one to learn.
Becky, well done!
lisadmhParticipantThis course is impeccable. I of course went straight to the end at first and was terrified, but working through the sections, it’s so well broken down that I can actually get it. Thank you!

lisadmhParticipantAh, you got it. Sounds great! Very chill and mellow. Thanks for sharing.

lisadmhParticipantHi Mary Ellen. On youtube you have to set it as with public or unlisted to be able to share the link. Then just click share, copy link, and paste the link into your message here, so special fuss needed. Most of us go unlisted so all of YouTube can’t see it but people with the link can.
lisadmhParticipantWould it be possible to get tabs that look just like the on screen tab viewer? There are quite a few differences and I’m getting confused.
I really hope this one is in the next challenge, 🙂
