Hey Everyone,
Well done so far – awesome tunes being played.
I’m late to this competition – the school term has been madness itself. I needed half term to get priorities realigned and get some quality uke in! Not a very polished performance in 5 days, but a super fun tune and technique…. I’ll keep working on it.

On tenderhooks…… what is the July challenge going to be???! I should be preparing yet more lesson powerpoints, so this is the highlight of my day!

What programme are you using to record the multichannels?
@kirpuff – that was great! Such a hard arrangement – I am still learning it, so had to switch half way through the month. You did great!
@maryjanew – you can hear it coming together, don’t be hard on yourself, it’s a tricky piece and I still find recording myself to be terrifying.Great job everyone!!!

Wow… @brettboy, @surfnrz and @schapp123… well done! I am still working on careless whisper but didn’t make it in the month… a tricky little number – well done!
Awesome playing everyone – I’ve enjoyed all the performances.
I apologise in advance for this – my little mic appears to have packed in and this just sounds tinny and horrible – sorry. I did a bit of an experiment with the high bit and did a high drone tone instead using my thumb rather than the open low G. It’s such a cool tune – I’ll now carry on with careless whisper!

Well done!I’m going for careless whisper too… it’s a tricky little one!! I am literally doing it a bar at a time on the tab viewer and I’m taking it down to 25% and repeating a million times – I think it’s a good job that I’m in lockdown alone!!! Another awesome selection of songs again Andrew – I just want to play all of them! Good luck everyone! 🙂
I have an Ortega tenor which really wasn’t very expensive (about £70) – which is my low G instrument.I bought it when I first started playing to allow access to low G tunes, but I’m playing it more and more now, so maybe time for an upgrade!!! It sounded better in the shop than more expensive instruments. When I put living water strings on it, it made a massive difference. It does the job, sounds nice and didn’t break the bank.
