Hi Andrew, thank you sooo much. That was a fantastic help. There is a 1 note difference between the sheet music and the tab player which threw me out. However, I always find these chucking patterns challenging, which is why I chose this one. I think I’ve nailed it now following your video.. just trying to memorise it! Happy new year. Lisa
Hey Andrew – loving Santa Fe – I really love the variety of styles that you do – and the challenges often encourage me to look beyond pieces I know.
I have done OK on section A and B – but struggling on C. I’ve tried to slow it down with the player and with youtube, but what I’m hearing and what I’m reading on the music just sounds different and I can’t work out what you are doing.
Looking at bar 31, is it: down, down, up, chuck down, thumbnail up on open A, down, 2nd finger on – thumb up, chuck, thumb up, down with pull off, chuck, thumb up.
It seems shorter when you play it!

Hey everyone,
Merry festive times to you all. I’ve chosen Carol of the Bells because I sang it in a choir once and it was REALLY cool to sing (the words were easy to learn – lots of ding dongs!)
My latest choir wouldn’t do it, because it’s too ‘popular’! Of course it’s popular – it’s really cool!!!
I’ve also learn Deck the halls – but as it’s taking 100 takes due to ‘camera freeze’ – I may put that one up later.
Anyway – I’ve also donated a ukulele-worth to the kids club.($40)

Lisa xThank you for helping to keep me sane.. This year especially. I love the stuff you do. I love the new techniques and claw hammer was a hit for me and the ragtime.. But I would never have known to ask for it! I love being introduced to new things.. So any new techniques to spice up the playing would be great. . I would love some more flamenco, maybe some Rodrigo y gabrielle. Songs..i love singing but when the words and uke parts are on different sheets, I have difficulty putting them together. Jack Johnson was particularly hard. I guess singing won’t access all though. Some bossa nova or Latin jazz would be nice. Have a well deserved break and a Merry Christmas. I look forward to adventures in the new year.

Hey everyone – this is my first attempt at Toss a Coin to Your Witcher. It’s a beautiful tune – I had never heard of it before. Apologies for the early recording – I am anticipating madness with mock exams over the next few weeks, so wanted to start the submission process. I stumbled a lot on the last section – lots of work still to do. I’m also recording using my phone because everything through my laptop sounds tinny – I think it is better but I’ve lost my head!
