Hi Steve! I’m also not a performer and don’t have many musical friends. But I’ve made lots here! I recommend going through the Ukulele Songs page and picking out some you like the sound of. Don’t discount the easier levels either — there’s always something to be learned. Have fun!

I just finished my recording for Hone A Ka Wai and then saw the comment you gave to @hiloukes, Andrew. I think I will use your fingering recommendation to improve on my walk-ups from the first fret. Thanks!

I would need a few more months to polish up (and learn the rest of) this masterpiece. Glad I tackled it though! And thankful for my old soprano uke — the reason I can achieve those major stretch chords.

I doubt I would have tackled the Clawhammer Technique course without the incentive of a banjolele, which is just one of the many reasons why I love these challenges. Thanks for pushing me to learn something new. I really enjoyed it!

This kind of music makes me want to tap my feet, so I worked to incorporate that into my playing:

Awesome work everyone! I really enjoyed listening to your original compositions. Etude no. 19 is quite the workout for the left hand. I also learned something new: partial barres with the middle finger.
