So much FUN playing this song and what makes it more fun (and more challenging) is to play it with your FRIENDS on the background.

Holidays are wonderful but can become stressful and overwhelming at times.
Stepping back and playing something ~slow~ to soothe me a bit.

All I want for Christmas is “Uke” 😁
Here is my entry for this month’s challenge. While my vocal range is limited, I am going to sing anyways 😉😜.

It’s been fun learning both arrangements, starting with Ashley’s, then picking up a few variations from Evan’s.

Watching and listening to all the entries gives a very Christmas-y vibe. (including the Chopsticks 😊). I am enjoying all of it.
I wish you all a happy holidays! Cheers!

For some reason, the sound of the waves and ukulele blend well together. It’s so relaxing and pleasing to listen to. Amazing @lisadmh!

I am more of a “Final Fantasy” gal. I do however enjoy these video game theme songs for this month’s challenge.
Posting my entry early as I’ve started learning Christmas songs.

I am enjoying watching all the entries.
Here’s my entry for the month of October

Still in the process of building up speed. Figured I won’t edit the audio fading out and just play it. I actually thought this arrangement is the easiest among others. I was SO wrong 😅. It took me some time to get used to the picking pattern. Then variations keep throwing me off my rhythm. It was quite a fun challenge.

Oh, this is an interesting topic. I hope I can make it with the live chat.
    Following @robinboyd,

3 things I never thought I’d be able to do? (and did it!)
    1. Play chord melody
    2. Barre 2 strings using my middle finger
    3. Harmonics (still working on it)

3 things I still think I’ll never be able to do
    1. Play Body Surfing
    2. Tremolo, Flamenco Strumming Technique
    3. Make my own chord melody arrangement

Thanks, @andrew. I did try using a pick and wrist as a pivot. You are right it’s faster and the sound is louder. But I need more practice with my hand posture as sometimes I get it and sometimes I don’t 😄 Will continue learning this technique. So FUN!

    Thanks @andrew !
Do we need to write “I am a Premium Member” on top of the post?

I am truly inspired by @marianne and @ccwuke ’s Misirlou so I decided to try it 😄.
This is my first time tackling the “tremolo pick” and I think I’m more comfortable using my index finger which looks weird 😅. Still needs a lot of practice and speed but I am having tons of fun learning something new, IT IS DELICIOUS as @mkstewart67 would say 😋
I hope you don’t mind me posting another one, this is 90% speed. I am a Premium Member.

Hello all! This is my entry for this month’s challenge. It’s been fun learning this arrangement.

In Melody B, switching to 10th, 12th, 15th frets are still quite a challenge for me. Placing a sticker on the 12th fret helped a bit.😄

Also, I made a few shortcuts in measures 18 and 19, replacing 8th fret on E string to 5th fret G (high) string. (sorry)

    All the best!
