Thank you stephen for your feedback! I’ll try to play it slower. I thought about that but somehow ended up playing it faster.

Here is my version of Sevivon, Sov Sov Sov. These challenges push me to learn a song in a definit amount of time which is great. I guess I could have played a better version with more practice…

    Merry Christmas to all.

A big THANK YOU to Andrew and all the great teachers here on Rockclass! You’re all so inspiring!

    Hi everyone!

It’s been such a long time since i shared my last video here.
I love the Etude in e minor and it was one of my first fingerpicking song that i learned on the ukulele. So here’s my version of it πŸ™‚

    Hi everyone

It has been a long time since I’ve joined a challenge, but now as there is an Irish Reel to learn I didn’t have to think too long about it, because I do Irish Dancing for about 10 years now :-). I loved to learn the triplet picking technique and without this challenge i wouldn’t have learned it for a longer time, so thanks for giving me a little push. I asked my friend and dance buddy Kim if she would like to dance something while I play and here it is: πŸ™‚

    Thanks all for watching.

Again I have to submitt on the last day. I was hoping to get e better performance. Now with some unclear sounds and some difficulties in some transission i got a ok performance.

Thanks for pushing me into practicing a song better and better πŸ™‚

Here is my submission on Lagrima. At first i tried the Moonlight Sonata, but I realised I’m not ready yet for this song. At first I’ll have to work a lot on stretch chords for that.
So I learned Lagrima and I had a lot of fun with it! I tried to put in some small variatins in the A melody like playing string 4 and 1 right after the other instead plugging together. I tried to fill in some retardando techniques in some sections. I went for the AABBA melody, because I didn’t want to end the song too soon πŸ™‚

Hi stephen, thank you for your feedback! Yes i did use only my thumb on the G string. I realises that i found it hard to leave it there while the song goes on so that’s why it’s probably difficult to see. I will work on that 😊

Here is my easy version of Shortnin’bread. I really enjoyed learning the clawhammer technique. Thanks for making me learn new things every month. πŸ™‚

It’s not as good as i want it to be, time this month has been short.

Wow these are great songs to choose! Actually i started to work on spanish nights a few days ago so that i would be ready for an upcoming challenge, but i didn’t expect it to come so soon. It will take me definitely longer than a month to learn it so I think I’m going to choose one of the other songs. Still not quite sure which one, I want to challenge myself but still able to submitt a clean performance at the end of the month. πŸ™‚
