AndrewKeymasterFixed 🙂 Thx again!
AndrewKeymasterYes, but there should be an F over sunshine (same line). I’ll ask Katie to double check 🙂 Thx for pointing it out.
AndrewKeymasterBecky is correct. I’d double check the lesson to see what Katie mentioned for that chord. But, it’s really just stylistic. So up to you if you want to accent the strum, arp., pluck, etc.
AndrewKeymasterSorry! The upload feature is primarily for photos. You will have to self host them, or you can upload to a site like, https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/.
AndrewKeymasterWelcome, David! Stoked to hear that the tunes on here motivated you, that’s so awesome! You can definitely share what you are working on in this forum. I’d highly encourage you to check out our reading course. That’s going to be one of the best ways for you to improve upon your notation skills.
And buy this book! It’s amazing for learning notation.
AndrewKeymasterhmm that’s kind of a conflicting statement. The melody will not always be diatonic to the chord. In other words, it’s not always a note that is in the chord (harmony) being played at the time.
Lead sheet is good for chord melody writing, but it’s bare bones. You should also consider what other instruments are playing too.
AndrewKeymasterIt should be fine. Most arr. on that site are for piano. So LS simplifies it.
AndrewKeymasterIt simplifies it to just the main melody with chords above it 🙂
AndrewKeymasterHi Alouisa, thanks for the feedback. I don’t believe it’s possible to format that, but I will look into it. 🙂

AndrewKeymasterFor those who missed it, EP004 is LIVE!
Recap: We are usually taught a specific fingering to use when fretting chords; but depending on the context of the music (i.e. transitioning from one chord to the next), the standard fingering may not be the most efficient to use.
So how do we determine the correct fingering? That’s what we’ll be answering in this lesson.

AndrewKeymasterplanetfink – Beautiful rendition. Here are my thoughts.
AndrewKeymasterYou could do a pull-off from 3 to 0 on string 2. Or play open E as a quarter on beat 2, forgoing the G note.
