I bought this flea ukulele because I could take it on the boat. The flea marketing materials failed to mention that the boat might be such a handful that I wouldn’t be able to practice. So I picked the Travis picking etude. I didn’t want to miss out on the contest.

This was my first time trying to play with a backing track. I practiced with the tab viewer and thought I was good. But when I tried to use the backing track, it all fell apart. Any suggestions?

I need more instruction on the slap/chuck starting at measure 13. I just couldn’t get it in there. And I’m playing at half tempo too.

The medley turned into two separate recordings. Partially to reduce 4 letter word usage but mostly to get something submitted in time.
Apologies to all the nutcrackers and sugar plum fairies that were injured during the making of these videos.
