deadbuggyParticipantThe Force may not be quite as strong as I’d like but this life-long Star Wars fan was not going to pass up the opportunity to learn this medley!

deadbuggyParticipantI AM A PREMIUM MEMBER and thought I’d pull out the teeny tiny uke for Tonight You Belong to Me. There’s a bit of a memory flub near the end and for the life of me I cannot learn the ending on that solo — for some reason, my brain isn’t connecting with my fingers on that so I fudged it! Thanks for including this song; it’s all I need. Oh, and this t-shirt — that’s all I need. And this uke — that’s all I need….

deadbuggyParticipantAndrew — I LOVE review like this! It really feels like we’re sitting together for a lesson. Thank you so much for such great advice — and for the kind words 🙂
deadbuggyParticipantI saw them a few years ago — check the performance info listing because they usually have a uke-along; bring your uke and play along on one song with them 🙂 To be honest, I really enjoyed the first set but their second set lost a bit of the punch and humor.

It’s been raining here for the last five days. I need to see some sun. And so does my Kala Waterman. We will entertain ourselves in the car while we wait…

deadbuggyParticipantAndrew — a short snippet of Thousand Years at a slower pace/mood. I see what you mean!

deadbuggyParticipantThanks Andrew! Excellent advice on slowing down and staying slow. I’ll definitely work on that!

deadbuggyParticipantWell, it’s been A Thousand Years since we could sit outside and enjoy the weather in Michigan. So here’s my attempt at this piece.Trying to work on dynamics and feel; sadly it falls apart toward the end but at least you can listen to the birds in the background.

To quote Rocky & Bullwinkle: Now Here’s Something We Hope You Really Like!
I was inspired by Brenna’s take on Dream. And I took possession of a brand new Ohana Sopranissimo uke yesterday. And like chocolate and peanut butter, the two just came together like a … dream. FYI, it’s not easy to play these teeny tiny ukes but the ‘cute’ factor is worth the effort.
Many congrats, Andrew and your team on 300 lessons! I’m working on A Thousand Years as well and hope to post my attempt later this month.
Cheers all!
deadbuggyParticipantLovely experience for a sad time. Sending good thoughts your way.
deadbuggyParticipantOh, I’m so sorry, Anne. My thoughts are with you and your family.
