This month I went for Etude in E Minor and played it on my Baritone (tuned my D string to E to add some base notes). It gave it a classical guitar vibe I liked. Really enjoyed learning and playing this one!

This month I went with Moon River. I was a tiny bit bummed it wasn’t a Halloween themed challenge because I love spooky tunes, so I decided to dress up in the spirit of Halloween as Holly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I love this song and it is one of my favorite movies 🙂 I also get to show off my new uke I got a month or so ago – A lovely Cedar/Rosewood Pono Tenor.

This month I recorded the Finger Picking Etude No. 26 – Travis Picking. I have been learning this one for a bit since it came out and was glad it showed up in a monthly challenge. I really love playing my Baritone. I am still working on the transitions in Melody B. I can get them pretty well, but in front of the camera in varies lol. Enjoy!

I proudly own 5 ukes lol! I have my original Kala Tenor that hangs on my living room wall, a Solid Wood Low G Tenor Kala, Solid Wood High G Concert Pono, Solid Wood Baritone Pono and a Flight Travel Soprano uke. I love all of them for their different sounds and uses. I think my most UAS purchase was when I was learning a song with some big stretch chords and I convinced myself I needed a concert size so it would be easier!😂
