Here is my try at Stairway to Heaven. Not perfect, but I am glad I am not waiting till the last day to post it! Love this song and need to have more time to practice it and maybe someday get that solo down 🙂

debb1985Participant@b_ukes_101 I am about to sit down and start learning it tonight – bit nervous myself. Solos are intimidating to me!

This month I went with Malaguena and it was quite the challenge! This was the best I could do before my hand almost fell off. I definitely need to work on my barre chords in the middle of the song as well as the tempo and transitions, but if someone told me a year ago I could play this song, I would have told them they were crazy. These challenges really push me to become a better player!

For April I decided to give Hone A Ka Wai a shot on my new Pono AC. I Really enjoyed the challenge of this song and how pretty it is 🙂

debb1985ParticipantEnjoying a rainy day on the front porch during what feels like the apocalypse. Here is my performance of Waltz in C. Would have liked to have done Lagrima, but was a little tough for me this month 🙂

debb1985ParticipantA work in progress (especially in front of the camera – amazing how hard it can be!), but I am pretty happy with it. I really enjoyed learning about the clawhammer technique and can’t wait to finish the course!

debb1985Participant@Andrew Thanks for the video feedback! It was really helpful to see where I need to work on my left hand form. I appreciate you taking the time to do that and to do it so quickly!

This is my first post and first challenge! I did my best with the 5 days I had to learn White Christmas since becoming a member. I really love this arrangement. It is fun to play and challenging. It’s needs some work on my part, but I am proud I am participating in my first challenge. I have been playing for 8 months and look forward to pushing myself and learning more in 2020.
