debb1985ParticipantThanks @Stephen for the feedback! I think with some good practice I could sing along. I can do the first half, but the second half needed more work. Definitely going to practice more because it is a fun song to play 😀

Here is my try at Beauty and the Beast. I chose to sing separately since learning the song was hard enough on its own! I didn’t get a perfect take on the uke so I had to edit towards the end a little so I could sing along better to it. When the timing is off and you need sing along to it, it definitely shows! The constant barre chords in this arrangement and getting used to a different sized uke really took a toll on my hand. It needs a couple days of rest lol. This was also my first time ever recording myself singing. Getting out of my comfort zone for sure, but it was fun!

debb1985ParticipantStill haven’t fully decided on what I am going to tackle this month. I have a good start on the high g solo of Beauty and the Beast, but was curious if I did the baritone version if I could add my singing in separately or does it have to be done simultaneously?

debb1985ParticipantI shot a new video to try and get rid of the random glitches. Figured I would post it! I also look happier at the end because my harmonics actually sound good lol 😆
debb1985ParticipantI saw someone do this on Uke on Youtube and it was just beautiful. Another one of my favs 🙂
Pavane pour une infante défunte – Ravel
debb1985ParticipantSimon great job! I loved your Toccata and Fugue! It is on my list of songs to try 🙂

debb1985ParticipantI have been practicing Gymnopédie No. 1 since it was posted back in January. One of my favorite pieces of music. I had to splice on my ending because our baby monitor turned on and interupted me, but here it is!
