gaevdlParticipantChanging all the strings is kind of the direction that I felt that I should do but I didn’t know if I was being silly. Thank you for your reply Robin Boyd.
gaevdlParticipantKatzenjammer’s Lady Grey or Cherry Pie…or any of their songs.
gaevdlParticipantThank you Andrew!!! The video really helps!
gaevdlParticipantThis is great Andrew, thanks. Maybe my phone was simply messing up because I have tried both of those various ways to search for a song. I really am computer literate…sometimes I just don’t look it. 🙂
gaevdlParticipantThank you!!! I have never noticed that before!
gaevdlParticipantAlso, Would it be possible to annotate on the sheet music whether it is for a low G ukulele?

Well, if I were to paste a bunch of clips together and make a collage, I’d have a perfect song! I still struggle to make it all the way through any song without mistakes. I did love this song though so I would have learned to play it with or without the challenge. Thanks for the motivation though!
Happy Halloween!

gaevdlParticipantSo disappointed in myself this month! After attempting Better Together for the first two weeks, I gave up at trying to get the singing part matched to the music and tried to tackle Wipe Out instead. I have it down, mostly! But after three hours of trying to get a good submission, I had to give up. My fingers are done, my brain is done, and nothing is coming together. I wish you all luck at your songs! I’m sad I couldn’t make it work.

gaevdlParticipantThank you Stephen! I will give the fingering a try. This will be one of my favorites to play for a long time.

I had fun with this song! Today was not a good day of playing but I needed to get it in. Thanks a bunch!
gaevdlParticipantThank you! I’ll play around with it.
gaevdlParticipantThanks a bunch!

My first challenge…don’t laugh or mock. It always comes back to bite you when you do.

gaevdlParticipantI had hoped to make the live stream to ask this question but I missed it. I have problem when there are three notes on a pull-off with the last note being open. My uke neck flies out of my hand because I don’t have any fingers holding the front down! For instance, “Fingerpicking Etude no. 13,” bar 11 goes from 3 to 2 to 0. How do you play that and still hold on!? I wouldn’t mind if you posted a little video clip to show how to do this… 🙂
Thanks!
gaevdlParticipantMe too… I started wearing a copper bracelet with magnets and a copper ring (with magnets) on the worst finger. My dad used to play guitar and he’s said they helped him. They seem to be working for me most of the time. Don’t ask me how though…vudoo?
