I am with ukandoit, I would love to learn Evans version (or any version really, but this one is brilliant!) of “A whole new world”! I have been looking for a nice fingerpicking version to learn for some time now (and Disney songs are always nice 😉 )
Other songs I would love to learn and would like to suggest are:
– Me and Julio down by the Schoolyard by Paul Simon
– Maggie by Colin Hay
– Good old fashioned Loverboy by Queen

I had very little time to prepare/practice this. But i love the song so i had to try the best i could in the time i had. so this is it.
@miztaken: the sustain in the second recording is much better! I would say it was worth the reupload 🙂
I noticed in your first Video that you were whispering something. Numbers maybe? May i ask why that is? I suppose its to help you play/remembering. I just think its impressive if you are remembering all the numbers from the tab..?

Thank you! I know it isn’t the cleanest version yet, but i will try to get there 🙂I won´t have much time to practice (or countless hours for trying to record myself) the coming few weeks i think, so i did my best to learn it quick
@planetfink: its possibly just my browser thats acting up (it does that with videos sometimes) but i can´t open your video. Is anybody else having troubles with it or is it just me?I Will have a go at Jurassic Park. I love (!) that Theme 🙂 i would like to learn the star wars Medley too, but i dont think i can manage that for this month challenge. Plus I still want to learn all of Aloha oe, since i only managed learning half of it until now.
Oh and @kelsey: the music from Jurassic Park is an amazing choice for the wedding theme! You can tell your sister, that some stranger on the Internet thinks that she is super cool 😀 😉
I didnt found the time to participate in last month’ challenge, though i love Here comes the sun.. So thats a shame. But i will try to learn one of this month Songs in time.
I dont sing, so number one is out. I dont think wipeout is my cup of tea when it comes to repeating it over and over the next weeks in order to learn it.So i will take a look on 2 and 4 and see if my abilities and my time shedule are up to learning one of these two 🙂
In fact i think i really want to learn Aloha ‘oe (since for me it kind of is THE Ukulele song) but i dont know if its the right choice for me. We’ll See 🙂

Open mic sounds fun! But i can hardly perform in front of family, let alone strangers. But i admire everyone who has that ability 🙂

I have tried to get a more or less clean recording for 3 days now. I just can´t get through the whole song in front of a microphone.. or people, but at least i know im not the only one getting microphone shy ;). I think i managed to record the whole song maybe 3-4 times. This was my best one 🙂
