@andrew really like the tour of the new site. I used to be frustrated by the lack of search choices and especially finding the most resent lesson. Looks like you’ve really done a great upgrade. Exciting to use it. Louisa
I chose Matt’s April lesson on House of the Rising Sun and the strum patterns. Was a challenge to get the rhythm with the ghost notes. Also the quick chord changes. Worked hard trying to get clearer notes… work in progress.
I also used my new hollyland microphone. Love it! Ability to record outside at a distance from my iPad, is huge. Also fact you can start recording from microphone!

@grannieannie thank you for comments. I thought your Spanish Romance was well done. And your doggie toes did like it too. It’s a long song and hard to keep that pace.
@akukes73 I’ve never seen or heard a guitalele. Didn’t know they were a thing. I like the sound. Very pretty@katazumiri that was so lovely. Never heard it before but I was mesmerized listening to it.
Here is my cripple creek. Few notes, I ordered wrong adapter for my new microphone so still waiting on delivery. Recorded on iPad and uploaded back track all on iMovie. Next decided to use one of the first couple takes. Took stress away but want to bring it up to speed and clarity (as usual). So not where I want i, but felt Michael’s backtrack helped mask me 🤔☺️

@jasdel I love the slide sound! How cool that is on the ukulele. I just heard Jake Simabukuro play a song with the slide. Very nice.
@marianne so lovely. I had watched Marco Cirillo lesson and was mesmerized by the sound. So beautiful. I’ve tried using my pointer as well as middle finger with the Spanish technique and you make it look easy with your pointer. Love it.

@andrew having just seen Jake Shimabukuro (2nd time) I think I will enjoy the ROCKTOBER challenge. Jake jammed on We will Rock You, one of his favorites, and I love your take of Ozzy’s piece.
