lhamiltonParticipantThanks so much for the feedback, Andrew! I was only uncomfortable with a couple of my pauses toward the very end of the piece as I wondered quite where I was in the piece and they’re already disappearing :). I really enjoyed the arrangement.

lhamiltonParticipantHi,
Here is my playing of Wonderful Tonight. I found it interesting since I had to fight zoning out a bit as I played and forgetting where in the piece I was. There is a bit of pausing at the end as I do that and that will disappear as I play it a bit more over the coming month. My two dogs liked this music and would often settle nearby as I played.

lhamiltonParticipantThanks for the feedback, Stephen! I really enjoyed 12th Street Rag. I’m still amazed that I managed to play that split stroke part — I’d never have thought I could have managed it. The intro did sound odd to me — adding the rests will definitely help.

It likely shouldn’t count as a second entry but I’m a bit happier with this version. I’ve played a but with the the mic and my fingering and tried to get it a bit less pounding.

lhamiltonParticipantThanks for that feedback, Andrew! Definitely useful! I’ll play with those ideas.

lhamiltonParticipantHi Andrew,
Thanks for the feedback on Into the North. I’ll keep playing with it. Any feedback on the Malagueña? (I know it’s slow and could use more variation and fewer pauses tho 🙂 ). One good thing was that it took fewer recordings to get a version that was at least submittable.

Hi,
Here is my second piece, Malagueña. You’ll likely notice I pause a bit — I got my low G in the middle of the month and have memorized the piece — just 🙂

Hi,
Here’s my version of Out in the North. I tried out the two-finger method for the first part and then played a bit with the rest. It’s far from ready yet (just got the low G ukulele a couple of weeks ago). Next time I record I’ll move the piezo mic — I think it’s likely not in the best spot.
