lhamiltonParticipantWonderful! Thanks, Andrew! I’d managed to do triple strums from following instructions, but this is the first time I’ve had an occasion to try doing a piece that actually used them.

lhamiltonParticipantHi,
I think the feedback missed my Page 14 Loke Lani. I’m a bit curious if my triplets were passable. Thanks.

lhamiltonParticipantThanks, Stephen! I really enjoyed learning Hone a Ka Wai and will keep working on that 9th measure. I played it for my son last night and was interested to learn that it’s in the new Fallout 76 game.

lhamiltonParticipantThanks, Stephen! Yes, the shifting back and forth up and down the neck have been a bit of a challenge especially on the baritone and especially if the moves include moves to interesting fingerings. I’ll keep working on it.
One benefit I found though in working with this piece on baritone was that I finally came to a way of holding the instrument that was comfortable — before this it slid around terribly.

lhamiltonParticipantHi,
I tried Lágrima this time. I don’t have a low G so I played it on my Baritone —

lhamiltonParticipantThanks, Andrew! I’m hoping to take time to go through the information here on recording before long 🙂
I found it interesting that it’s possible to have stage fright when recording.

lhamiltonParticipantHi,
I managed to record and upload to Youtube from my iPad. Not the best recording values but it was interesting. Here is my attempt at Cornbread and Butterbeans.

lhamiltonParticipantI’d enjoy learning Harvest Moon.
lhamiltonParticipant🙂 I get asked that a lot. Definitely not. But I was in a movie about whistling.
lhamiltonParticipantGreat! Thanks!
