    Good pick, Rickey.

Hey, that’s another one that would work well with our budding sight reading skills.

I hate to ask for more work, but Andrew going forward will you post some of the easier melodies without the tabs? I love the idea of being able to read music. (The execution is a work in progress still)

P.S. How are you doing with the size? I just started messing around with my as of yet unused low g tenor on Bourée and the uke is freaking huge. My fingers keep landing in the wrong frets. They say we’ll adapt, but it’s giant.

It’s outrageously fun to read standard notation on it, but I think my reading is better than I sound considering the fret size issue.

Maybe it was the last one because you stopped searching as soon as you found her. She was yours!

LOL, grateful dead, I can’t quite see you playing that.

Now, Grace, I can see. Here’s a video of Grace playing the same uke you got. No pressure, but I know you can do it!!!

Hmmm. But my finger doesn’t move when I’m all locked down on a bar chord with another finger anchored on another fret. I think I’m way too tight. Will try to get that finger moving. Thanks Andrew!

She is pretty awesome. She had lots of songs on YouTube now. Worth exploring.

And absolutely, I endorse this purchase! What color are you gonna get?? I think they come in colors?

Excellent. Do you know Grace Vanderwaal who the ukes are designed for?

I’d love to hear you play her debut song on an original Grace Fender!

Here’s the song that launched her career.

    And here’s Andrew’s version

No functional printer at the moment. I was thinking it’s maybe a quick click on Andrew’s side and it could be linked to the course?

My update is that I’ve made minor tweaks but I think the song is done. I feel good with it but whenever I record there are annoying pauses in random spots. I guess I just keep playing.

I’m trying to finesse it now. I’m adding vibrato, which I’ve never done before and I’m highly prone to getting Jimmy Hendrcks levels of vibrato so I’m working on the vibrato lesson. I’m also trying to add dynamics. I tend to forgetto do it, but I’m trying.

Recordings are always so disappointing though. In my head I have a near Andrew level of finesse, but on the recording its clunk clunk clunk pause clunk.

Anyway, I have a few more weeks. Keep on trucking! Still having fun with it!

Hahaha, you’re looking at a concert and now piqued by a banjolele, that’s the first symptom of ukulele acquisition syndrome. Good luck tomorrow!

He’s amazing. How does one so small have so much intensity and expression? Life goal.

Gawsh, I need to spend more time paying attention to other people’s feedback. There’s so much information on here. Other people’s feedback plus my own has just given me a dozen new immediate goals.

Andrew and Stephen, thanks for all the work you’re doing to give everyone individual feedback. With three super busy challenge months, it’s quite a task.

Ditto on you should have entered! I’ve been doing these since the second ever challenge and I don’t think I’ve had a perfect take but my entry is always welcomed. We can’t all be perfect. 😉

Welcome to RC101! I’m always happy to see the Canadian representation rise. See ya around.
