ParticipantThanks Andrew, I did practice it and liked it but I don’t know where it went when I turned on the video recorder . I’m going to continue working on this because I really liked the song.

This is my October submission of Moondance.
This was way out of my comfort zone as far as singing goes but I guess it’s supposed to be good to push ourselves out of our comfort zone once in a while.June 30, 2025 at 10:22 am in reply to: Participate in the June 2025 Member Challenge – WIN $2,250 Kanile’a Ukulele #74324lynnzo

ParticipantHi Andrew,
I’ve been traveling without my Uke again. I just started learning In the Summertime and it’s sounds more familiar to me if I use my low G . Can I play it like that or should I use the high G?May 30, 2025 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Participate in the May 2025 Member Challenge – WIN $2,250 Kanile’a Ukulele #73871lynnzo

This is my April Submission of Soaring Leads. I chose it because it didn’t sound that hard but, it was, yikes , especially the riff at measure 27 which gave me mega recording fright. 😊 I have to travel without my uke through the end of the month so I have to submit this earlier than I had hoped.

ParticipantThank you for the video response Andrew. I think, in my mind if I could play it faster then that would mean I got better at it, but you are right, if I slow it down its sounds better, feels better and it’s definitely more fluid than the first take.
Faster doesn’t always mean better.March 31, 2025 at 11:05 am in reply to: Participate in the March 2025 Member Challenge – Rewind & Replay! #73329lynnzo

This is my submission for the March challenge. I’m not sure if it’s really any better than the original. The transition from G to E7 is just really hard for me. I guess it would work if I just slowed down the tempo more. Also the transitions from E flat to Bflat 6 in measure 11 and 12 are hard too. It’s okay though, I’m not done working on it yet.😊
