This is my entry for August. I’m getting ready for a trip so I wanted to get this submitted before I leave. I know it could use improvement on transitions and timing and some string buzz but I’ve run out of time to work on it!

Thanks @ldarrow, I’m sure you will be great! I was actually going to give up as well because my pinky locks at the same place every time, but kept at it. It really is hard to get a good recording, I have super stage fright and just knowing I’m being recorded freaks me out lol! I’m going on vacation so glad I submitted early instead.
I chose Stairway go Heaven for my entry. This marks a year since buying my first uke, I had no idea how much I would enjoy playing it!
Oh wow, thanks so much @andrew, I am really enjoying my uke journey so far and these monthly challenges are a blast! I had done that clip last week but was hoping to get a better recording so I held off submitting. I think we are always our worst critics!

I chose Habenera as my song this month, it was quite challenging and there were parts that I struggled with. I didn’t get all of it memorized this month and I think that that would have made a big difference. Thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to reading the critique!
Thank you @andrew for your feedback! I knew that I had trouble with a few spots, my pinky is not strong enough yet so I was using different fingering than instructed and it was a little fumbly. I also sometimes get trigger finger in multiple fingers and they just don’t work right every once in awhile, does anyone else get this?

Here is my submission of Blackbird on my tenor, this is my second entry. Birds on the cover are actually starlings that I raised a few years ago. I looked forward to the critique!
I am just practicing Blackbird and I was wondering if there is a difference between the download music to print off, particularly bar 40, compared to the recorded and sound slice versions? Thanks, I’m just a little confused.
