I’ve saved your youtube post so I can watch your fingers at 75% speed. That is my objective to get this song to 75% by the deadline. ha
I can see that that question really “struck a chord” with Andrew. It reminded me of my high school Algerbra teacher who was also the football coach. At the beginning of class on Mondays, someone would ask about a particular play in the football game on the previous Friday night. Coach got the twinkle in his eye and the Algebra books were closed for the rest of the class! Good questions always elicit a passionate response with, sometimes, the extra lagniappe.

We also say “Do not sweat it” or “You are fretting (worrying) over nothing”….etc. Now you have a new phrase to try out on your friends.
Johanna, don’t “fret” the transition to the 12th. It’s not noticeable. I’ll be happy if I can do it half as well as you by the end of month.
Andra, I’m still on the fingerpicking section. But I can envision what you’re talking about. I hold the uke body with my right pinkie (sometimes ring & pinkie). I think this may be a crutch. It does tend to interfere when I start strumming….the uke body starts sinking.
That looks so neat, Robin. I’m afraid my talent is lacking for the job. ha.

Thanks, Kanae & Andrew. I do want the wall mount. Andrew, I see only Hercules wall mounts for guitars. will they fit a ukulele? And what about a Fender with all the tuning thingees on one side?
Becky, I just looked on google earth at the Esplanade address. I’m not sure that would be it because it would have been at the outskirt or back of town in early New Orleans. But depending on the time period, who knows. Most of the homes and mansions on Esplanade do have that greek revival look. But if you research it more let me know. I will start the video of me at the front door/gate. (MAYBE. ha).
The only one that I can for sure say it’s not, is the Cherokee St. site.
