samash07ParticipantThe channel is Ukulele Time and from what I’ve seen in his videos the tutorials are mainly for Low G ukulele.
Second game’s been out for years now😅, the show will catch up next year I presume.
samash07ParticipantGreat playing! This tune is the reason I fell in love with the Ukulele AND found out about Rockclass101, haven’t looked back since!
The best part about this lullaby is that there is no perfect tempo, all sound great!
samash07ParticipantThanks, and no I’m not that skilled enough to write my own arrangements, maybe one day? 😅 It was from a YouTube channel.
Yeah I love this song as well, especially after playing Last of Us 2.
samash07ParticipantFinally got around to covering Take on Me (A-ha)
samash07ParticipantSweet, looking forward to it and hope your finger gets patched soon! @robinboyd

samash07ParticipantThanks Andrew, your words gave me more confidence to do exactly that! 🙂

samash07ParticipantBringing the funk on! Still not my best performance but I figured it’s time to tackle intermediate tunes in monthly challenges. Been fixated on beginner ones for eternity now.
samash07ParticipantThat was a great performance @marlongas it’s amazing how different ukuleles produce unique sounds. I would’ve loved to do this on my wood uke but it’s a Low G now xd
I found one tab for Take on Me, which is based on the original, not the TLOU version.
samash07Participant@The_Bumble_Bard thanks for the lovely comments! The arrangement is originally from AlWood on YouTube, he does some really amazing arrangements and I suggest everyone should check them out. Most of his tabs are free but there’re no tutorials.
I’ll try to learn Take on Me!
@surferjay that 30 second arrangement sounds great! And yeah unfortunately I can’t sing either xD-

samash07ParticipantAmazing! The dream…owning a premium kanilea. Bet it sounds wonderful
samash07ParticipantThanks! As an avid TLOU fan this is what I wanted to do with the video, capture the feel of the game.
I never played the online though.

samash07ParticipantHere’s my 2023’s first entry

samash07ParticipantAmazing performance @deadbuggy
To reiterate deadbuggy’s words. I would also like to thank Andrew and Co for an amazing year of music!
Now I don’t know what other resources are available thoughout the Internet but if I were to pick a website to progress in my ukulele journey it’ll always be Rockclass101.
The courses can easily help one progress rapidly, though I chose to go at my own pace as I’m also simultaneously learning the Violin. But really, thanks for all the love and effort you guys put into these courses and weekly song lessons/monthly live etc. This community deserves to keep growing!

samash07ParticipantI AM A PREMIUM MEMBER
I recorded this recently and also uploaded on the website, just wanted to submit it as this month’s entry so it gets more exposure. Will upload another entry in the next few weeks, hope I can get feedback on it, even though it won’t count as an entry.

samash07ParticipantThat’s great to hear Andrew, look forward to them!
And regarding the B melody, it changed accidentally while recording as I was entranced by the piano piece. But glad you still liked it! 🙂
