cloud_cactusParticipantlol this one is kinda meh…but oh well haha
I definitely needed to practice this one a bit more, and I plan on that, but for now, here is my attempt at Puff the Magic Dragon. I love this song and I’m so happy I got to learn it!!!
Also I realize that my pinky and ring finger occasionally are set down on the body of the uke lol I’m trying to get out of that habit it’s hard tho

I learned the A melody 3 days ago and the B melody today so this really is not that good, but at least it’s the easier song haha. i guess i learned my lesson… next time im planning time in my schedule to do these challenges lol.

cloud_cactusParticipantThis month I decided to learn Yankee Doodle. It was a simple yet fun tune to learn, yet had me practicing so much just to get that tapped harmonic! I think in the end I did okay! 😉

cloud_cactusParticipantwelp….this one is kinda odd. We have a very limited amount of devices in the house so I had to use one with a not very good video quality. rip. So ya its kinda annoying but oh well. Here’s my entry with Pineapple Uke Blues….a little rough…
-Brinley
cloud_cactusParticipantUsually I play sitting down, but I have played both ways. I guess I forgot that straps were a thing lol. I’m going to have to get one. Thanks!

cloud_cactusParticipantAloha!!! I am so happy that this months theme was hawaiian because I love hawaiian music! However, I definitely didn’t practice as much as I should have. I am going to practice more next month for sure! Sadly, I made quite a few mistakes in this piece, but here is my entry of Hone A Ka Wai.
-Brinley
cloud_cactusParticipantThank you Andrew!!!
cloud_cactusParticipantI like Hey Jude

cloud_cactusParticipantI would like to learn Bodysurfing this month, but I already am learning a different arrangement and I don’t want to confuse the two. One is challenging enough! lol Also I can’t cuz I’m not premium…so I guess I’m doing Hone A Ka Wai. I’m excited!

cloud_cactusParticipantSadly, I also didn’t get a low g string. I meant to, but it just didn’t happen lol. Also, even though last month I learned Amazing Grace with harmonics, the harmonic at the end of this song didn’t work. It was just a little mistake, and it still doesn’t sound that bad. I had a few takes with a good harmonic, but other parts were bad, so I just decided to do the one where the harmonic doesn’t ring out. Anyway, I enjoyed the challenge!

cloud_cactusParticipantlol I have the same question! I need to know whether I have to buy another string or not.
