Hi, it has been a while… after a difficult pregnancy and dealing with being a mom for the first time, I’m trying to slowly get back to play the ukulele, especially for my little one. This take was quite rough but I’m kind of running out of time to post it. I’ve been watching some of the entry and it always amaze me the great playing from the members. Congrats!

I’m only playing only the melody here but I hope in the future to learn the full chord melody, it’s a beautiful song.

I’ve decided to pick Day-O because I though it would be easy (the triplet strumming on Loki Lani really scared me lol). I was oh so wrong. I’ve made a lot of mistakes as I’m having a hard time to find the right timing and rhythm. I definitely want to keep revisiting this song! This is my submission for the December part of this challenge. I played Greensleeves, I’m aware it’s far from perfect, but I hope to improve as i keep working on it. I improvised a D classical string from a cheap classical set so it doesn’t sound so great.
I’m new here and I’m thoroughly enjoying watching everyone’s entries. Congrats everyone! They sound really good and they show the hard working you’ve been putting into this.
