gi_gi_Participant@tbb Ukulele Wales has a good You Tube Channel that explains how to use the Looper pedal, etc. she even has a great vid on how to make a mini pedal board for ukes. It’s great. You dont need a whole board though. The looper is great on its own.
gi_gi_Participant@TBB I’m gonna try to place a link here. It shows both the rhythm and solo parts. When using the looper you record yourself playing the rhythm part. Then you press play and play the solo part on top in real time. It’s pretty cool.
gi_gi_ParticipantOh how nice. That was so enjoyable @madz_about_uke
gi_gi_Participant@tbb Congrats! How exciting…. You will love the looper. I have that one as well. I used it when I was learning Europa (Carlos Santana). There are a lot of good vids on You tube where I was learning how to play it with the looper and it was fun. I need to get back to it.
Please rest your thoughts. I doubt anyone thought a thing about anything you posted (does that make sense?) 😂 You are a fresh of breath air and a big asset to this site. It’s nice to have more involvement and that’s mostly because of you.Great job @surferjay
gi_gi_Participant@robinhoyd That was AWESOME! You have a good voice.
@TBB good job at figuring that out. Nice.I wish there were more singing challenges as well.

gi_gi_ParticipantCongrats @Surferjay That’s wonderful. I’m almost to my 1 1/2 yr mark. Now I’m gonna make sure I make the looping thing a part of my playing before my 2nd year is up 😂😂😂
Fingerpicking is fun.-

gi_gi_ParticipantSorry you are going through this. As a Non-Medical person feel weird giving any advice. Seems like a good idea to keep moving though. The body seems to do well with movement. There are certain basic exercises like the spider that could be done even without the ukulele in hand. Could possibly build strength. Your Doc would know better.

gi_gi_Participant@Surferjay Love the idea of going through the modules as a group.
gi_gi_ParticipantVery nice @Surferjay. Please keep posting things because it is encouraging me to start using my looper again. I made a small pedalboard because of your videos. I was interested after seeing Karlie G play but only thought I could do it after seeing you do it. Thanks.

gi_gi_ParticipantThings I never thought I would learn but have (to a decent degree for me):
1. The tremolo
2. How to play one of Evan’s arrangements 🙂
3. Never thought I would be able to change chords quicklyThings that still seem impossible:
1. Being able to take my uke and amp to a friend’s home and jam while we all sing together. Knowing how to detect which music pattern is being played and in which key, etc
2. How to write a song
3. How to improviseThe challenges here on RockClass101 along with taking the one on one and group classes with Ukulele Underground have been invaluable in helping me learn certain songs and techniques. Thanks.
gi_gi_ParticipantMy ukepiphany is that I never would’ve known how much I would love this instrument. Never in a million years 😂. I’m totally hooked. I’ve never enjoyed an instrument so much.

gi_gi_ParticipantThis is so great @Andrew. Will have it in my arsenal. Love the concept of this. The length of the lesson is perfect. Looking forward to more like it.
