I started working on the Feel-Good Strumming song, but I was also inspired by @muzikmama to do the One Finger Etude! I really like how you play it, and it was cool to see your changes and improvements from the first post to the second!
Because 3 or 4 finger picking is not an option anyways, I figured I would go all in on the “One Finger” theme of this etude and only use one finger on my right hand as well! lol 🙂@dianna I can only speak for myself, but for me, I do a lot of practicing and takes before I get one that I like for nearly every challenge! You are not alone! 🙂

I have wondered the same thing about my cats and their tendency to jump on my shoulders! I never trained them to do it or anything like that, so its hard to say! I had them all since they were very young, and two of them I would even carry around in my poclets when they were super tiny, so that might have played a role! lol@andrew your totally right! I didn’t even think of it that way when I added the bars lol. Just thought, “hey, I’ll make this a little longer” lol!

@The_Bumble_Bard Thank you so much Bumble! I actually started learning the song, back during the video game themed month! However, I wasn’t able to play it well enough to perform it in the deadline, so I changed over to the Great Fairy Fountain tune instead. But I never forgot how much I loved Zelda’s Lullaby and wanted to go back and tighten it up. 🙂
And yes, Ziggy loves to jump on my shoulders! At some point or another, all of my cats use to jump on my shoulders. But Ziggy, being the youngest, is the only one who still does it. Not always at the opportune times either! lolI am a Premium Member
After trying the more advanced songs this month I decided to instead work on my biggest weakness: strumming lol
So I learned the Beginner Blues Strumming. I never tried strumming the up strokes with my thumb before, so that took some practice for sure! And my chuck also needs a lot of work, so it was nice to practice that more as well!

So I got to Swan Lake in the new Course and was learning that when the “Danse Paysanne” lesson came out, and I really fell in love with and had to learn it! This song is so much fun to play, thank you!

I wanted to do the Celtic mini, but I couldn’t quite get the left hand fingering right! Something I need to work on. So instead I ended up going with “navigating the fretboard”. I struggled with maintaining a steady rhythm, but as always, it was a ton of fun to practice and work on!
Also, as always, I loved watching everyone’s entries this month! Well done all!@andrew thank you!
