Thanks guys. Lol Becky, no surprise on that walk up. You have no idea how many times I have run exactly that 4 note sequence. It is the hardest thing in the song (or, the hardest part that I didn’t cheat on and edit out).
My buzzing is user error, not uke workmanship, so no filing down anything here. The tenor is just harder for me to nail the finger placement on. I’d go to a store to ask before filing anything, unless you know a whole lot more about this instrument than I do!

I really should do more exercises Becky. That counts for sure. I’m sort of doing exercises with Bb/a shape around the neck. I’m not great at that shape and need more flex.

Miztaken, do you have a live uke teacher too? I’ve been tempted but I don’t know what I would ask. This place does all I know. What do you do in live lessons? Is it worth it?
That’s very cool Robin. How do you know what to do with the two extra strings? Can you figure out how to play RC101 songs on it? Are the strings closer together? I think they are from when I see them in store. Does that mess you up?
Switching from soprano to tenor on a song totally messes me up too. Tenor is low G for me, so I play different songs on it and don’t switch for a single song.
For what it’s worth, the Waltz is super easy except for that one last note. Grrr, there’s always one, thank you Andrew! Lol. And the rest of them I’m playing poorly. 😁

I’m looking forward to that live lesson. Finesse is something I lack in all aspects of my life. I’m just a clunky awkward stiff person, lol. Maybe I’ll make a breakthrough as I’ve never had a lesson on finesse in uke or in life!

It’s a little clunky, but I’m sure that’s what you’ve all come to expect of me.
You know, the Beatles really had the magic. This and Here Comes The Sun are the absolute worst for getting stuck in my head. My partner and I constantly find ourselves humming it all day long. He’s looking forward to me moving this down into occasional rotation. 🙂
Bar 9 really slows me down. Bar 20 to 21 too. I tried hard to be mellow rather than so uptight, with limited success. I got the harmonic though! Fun tune.
I could have cheated and posted a recording from last year of Here Comes the Sun, but I learned this instead. Now I’ll go back and clean up that one as it has fallen out of my play list.
