Great job Rickey! You’ve maybe got a few areas to smooth out, but overall you’ve got good rhythm and you nailed the singing and playing at the same time. I can’t do that! It’s always fun to see your performances. Thanks for sharing.
I’m kinda hoping for Sweet Child of Mine too, but it’s a level 4, gasp! And there are two other Coming Next songs up there. I seem to have fallen in love with Etude 17 in the last couple of days but none of the songs coming next are Etudes so ours doubtful we’ll get that one this month. I’ll keep plugging away on my own.

Hi there. You Vann do a lot worth the thumb. Here’s Andrew’slesson on the thumb approach to picking. You can probably make a lot of a two fingered approach too. Some things might be harder but I think you can learn to do a lot on the uke with what you’ve got. You can do this! ☺

I do dozens of takes trying to get the mistakes out. That’s probably one of the reasons Andrew points out how uptight I always look. My early takes always suck though. I can’t even tie my shoes in just three takes….
