Great lesson Matt, thanks for answering my questions! Advanced Barre chords for sure. This will take some practice.

Can’t wait for tips on 6675. I just tried it and got one string to ring out. Lol.

I finally bought my outdoor ukulele with my tax return money. Woo hoo! I can’t wait to get it. It seems perfect for day trips and longer trips.

I went with the regular blue, not the upgrade. Seems strong enough for my use. I don’t foresee Amy horses stepping on it. Looking forward to replacing the crappy but pretty waterman.

I’ve got a question. I struggle with the partial bar on the Bb out same shape anywhere. My fingers bend all wrong. Any exercises to help the index finger go straight. Here’s a pic of what my fingers do. I miss the 2nd string.

    Thanks!

Those are the same strings I use and love. No squeeking and I’ve had them on for about 6 months. Weird….

I’ve been wondering these things too. I learn so many songs and forget them. I get continually practicing, but time!

Should I be practicing 20 songs every day plus learning new ones and new techniques? I’d have to quit my day job. I get that this is a career for peoplewho can do that, but what’s a reasonable target for the rest of us?

Thanks for the question Rickey, and thanks for the help, Andrew.

Hmm. Maybe I paid too much for tickets if they disappoint? I don’t care, there’s surprisingly little uke opportunities around here. I will check the lineup. I’d be surprised if there was a strum along at the royal conservatory fancy pants location but maybe!

I think you need a new uke Rickey, lol. Kala makes a comfort edge one to avoid unsightly dents. I get them too but they don’t cause me problems.

@lildevil, me too. I hear breathing and it sounds like I’m banging on the strings, which I probably do, but not that bad. I bought a cheap external Mic bit out didn’t really help. I think it’s a phone problem.

    @Justin
, welcome to the challenges! Great job.

@ everyone else. Good job, folks. It’s great to hear all the different takes. Y’ all have put some hours in!

OMG, I’m laying in bed trying to go to sleep and it suddenly occurs to me that the F shape is the same as the G shape if you leave off the G string and strum three down. I run and grab my uke and it works! Same chords, which is cool, not only because it’s cool, but also because moving the F makes for an awkward fingering.

So much for sleep. Back to the uke.

And it’s got a bunch of chords in the movable C shape, which I can now recognize and understand, Hahahaha! Bliss.

Lol, Becky.I have no idea what I would do with this. I love how you explore such a wide range of things in music. I’m just plugging along humbly on my little acoustic uke.

This is very pretty. I’m generally not into movie themes, but wow, this is such a pretty theme. Makes me wanna see the movie again.
