Soraya, definitely. I freeze up as soon add I hit record, even after multiple takes. Striving for perfection for the recording causes so many extra mistakes.
At least, I tell myself I usually sound better than what I’m hearing on the darned recording!
Hey Andrew, I trying to figure it out with other chords. Is it supposed to work with everything?
I love the Bdim7 in Etude18 bar 15. 5454. But the internet is telling me that the cord is a Ddim7. But if 1010 is an Edim7, which the internet tells me is so, then moving up, the 5454 should be half way between a Gdim7 and an Adim7. Clearly I’m confuzed. 🙂

I’m a little behind. I haven’t kept my set list alive. Must go back and practice. I have 4 new originals, which beats my goal, but only one new RC song clean (ish), beginner level, and working hard on my second. A couple others are in progress but messy. Need to focus.

Here’s what I’ve got. I messed around with it a little, inspired by others here. It’s all plucked instead of strummed because I like the sound and need to workon cleaner plucking. A bit of back beat, a bit of repetition. Recording never gets a great take….

I have a question. Pull offs on the A string always sound tinny and wrong, different from the other strings. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
