Thanks Kanae. That’s exactly the technique we’re looking for.

Tough one, especially when done on a bar chord. I’ll get there…

Wow awesome fast service. 😀 thanks Andrew.

I’m pretty sure you have that first technique on the live lesson supplement to Here Comes the Sun.

    Live Lesson EP001

I think it was also in here? I haven’t relistened but I think there was a tough flicky flick.

I’m interested in this too. I try to land resting on the a string, but I tend to go the other way and sometimes miss the e string too. Tips welcome.

Ricky, are you working on heart and soul with me?

I added to my family again. I got a used but pristine Kayla tenor for cheap. I wasn’t feeling tenor as I don’t have much of a stretch but for that price I couldn’t resist. Now after playing it for two days my soprano feels itsy bitsy!

Awesome job Ricky. You’ve got a good relaxed vibe. And I love the lyrics, lol. I’ve gotta up my game with the rest of toy getting so creative.

Toastedbrains, does that really say last WEEK? Wow. Just wow. You’ve got a great uke future ahead of you.

Here I was thinking you’d never be able to please everyone with categories, but I think you did it. Customizable categories, brilliant. Thanks Andrew.

Andrew, I’m trying to lighten up on the strings as you suggest but even when I play in a whisper, not audible in the next room, the recording sounds loud and clunky. I think my microphone is super sensitive.

The bad side is my songs always sound clunky. The good side is that my hammer ons actually sound out, lol.

Brett, I’m now reworking mine with some new frills. Ant objection if I steal some of your new frills – if I can figure them out?

Daaaaaammm, nice job Brett. That’s the kind of groove I aspire to. Mine’s so straight by the book – the book is a fabulous song but I love the way you can add to it and make it your own.

Thanks Stephen. I missed that video. I’m pretty new to not cheating on hammer on pull offs, so I’ll keep on plugging, nice and slow.

And thanks mheiden. Agreed, this is a lesson in patience! But much more fun than most lessons in patience I encounter.

Despite the bum ending, I thought I’d share the other song as this is where I’m really at. Any tips on those hammer ons and pull offs? I’m trying but not improving. Thanks!

    I love this song.

Here’s the first one. I’m trying to slow down and relax into it as last month Andrew encouraged me to play more laid back. But it seems I’ve got no groove. I’m always uptight. Not sure how to relax but I’ll keep trying!

Oh and no matter how many times I play I always mess up one random bar. It’s easy to find in this steady beat song.

    Nice little tune.
