lisadmhParticipantOooh, pretty. Added to my extensive wish list!
lisadmhParticipantSounds great! Thanks for posting. I love hearing what people are working on. Fab job.
lisadmhParticipantCongrats on your new role here Evan. You’re amazing! I’m a little jealous of your incredible talent and skill, but I can’t wait to learn from you! 🙂

lisadmhParticipantGreat song picks Andrew. This month I think I can do both, so that is my goal. I can do the first song but it could use some cleaning up and speeding up, and I’ve been obsessing over the second one since you posted it on Friday.
Whoever wins will be lucky. I love my Islander. Is this related to your fancy sparkly new endorsement?
lisadmhParticipantHere’s my latecomer version of Allegro. It’s far from perfect. I loop sections, slow it down to the lowest common denominator. I can do all sections clean but when I put it all together there are always random spots that I mess up on… On every song really. Anyway, here’s where I’m at.
Now I’m really distracted by this Friday’s new song. Down fan up up down fan up up down down up is my mantra today, lol.
Edited for a slightly better take.
lisadmhParticipantYou’re still way ahead of me. It’s just barely a workable stretch for me on my little soprano…. I impressed you’re working toward it on a tenor.
lisadmhParticipantGood job Maureen! I’m working on this one now too. I alsodidn’t do it in June because of the stretch but I seem to be getting a little stretchier. Pretty song.
lisadmhParticipantHahaha, Tinkerbell tiptoeing over jello is the best image ever. I’m literally sitting here tapping the fret as thinking of Tinkerbell and jello wobbles. Thanks!
Actually, Tinkerbell is giving me a bit of ring on the other three strings but still not much on the A. Hmmmm….
lisadmhParticipantAndrew, is it possible that tapped harmonics don’t ring out acoustically? You’re plugged in, most of us are not.
I’m working on Allegro and there’s one 12th fret a string harmonic. I get almost nothing out of it. I’ve watched all your videos and read all your tips. So pretty on your recording…

lisadmhParticipantThanks Andrew! I’ll try to chill more. I do get rather uptight trying to get things right.
lisadmhParticipantRickey, going top the store and trying them out with your RC101 songs is great fun. They know me at my local music store. I go visit their ukes regularly. It’s like going to visit the cute puppy dogs. I haven’t walked out with an impulse buy yet but it could happen, lol.
lisadmhParticipantWelcome slam. I’m in Ontario too.
lisadmhParticipantLol. Thanks. It’s still pretty bad but it entertains me.
lisadmhParticipantRickey, here’s my pick for a step up that’s not a giant leap. Good brand. Solid wood. A couple of us here have one. I love mine. Of course, ukulele acquisition syndrome means you might want to take another step at some point but I love mine.

lisadmhParticipantHappy birthday. Isn’t birthday month great? Welcome to the site.
