Here’s my attempt at Blue Moon. I turned out to be much more difficult than I expected. Like usual, I can play it much better when I am not recording.

SLEEPWALK – I love this song. I listened to the original several times before doing my recording and ended up making some changes. I sped up the tempo somewhat and added a few things in order to lengthen the song. Both the intro and outro are extended. Hope you don’t mind the modifications.

I really enjoyed Spanish Romance. I’m not happy with my video but I really want to get on to the newer lessons.

mark1256ParticipantHi Andrew. Just one suggestion- if you are going to add some baritone lessons this year, you should probably add “baritone “ to the search criteria.
It looks like it’s going to be a great year!
mark1256ParticipantAndrew, I’d like to see some more contemporary songs using Stephen’s triple stroke technique.
I’d also like to see tabs to play some songs on both high and low G. I frequently see songs that I would like to try on low G but I don’t know how to adapt them. Thanks,

mark1256ParticipantAndyrose, I did Matt’s lesson on bar chords about a year ago. I thought that D chord was impossible too. I kept at it and it’s now my favorite way to play a D. It’s handy down the neck too. Keep working at it and you won’t be sorry.

mark1256ParticipantThanks Andrew. I’ve been having problems with sustain, so I really concentrated on this.

Here’s my November submission of Haunted Uke. This melody is great and I really enjoyed getting the backing track to play along. I hope we get more of these in the future.

mark1256Participantwhollyprofit Sounds like you are on your way. Just wanted you to know that I had a similar experience but after slowly going back through the lesson it all clicked. I can now play it up to speed (except when I am trying to record myself 🙂
