Hi Everyone,
Here’s my entry for the May Challenge. I worked on Pineapple Uke Blues.

I been busy and haven’t had a chance to participate in many challenges this year but hope to get back into playing my ukulele. Here is my entry for this month…I’m a little rusty.

February 28, 2019 at 9:38 pm #25454ukulelelooParticipantHi Everyone,
Here is my song for the Feb. challenge. I’m playing Greensleeves. I found that it was difficult to figure what the best fingering would be when learning to play the song with the sheet music. I also wanted to add chords but wasn’t sure when and what chords to play. So, here it is, without any chords.

January 31, 2019 at 7:55 pm #24816ukulelelooParticipantHi Andrew, Hope you are feeling better.
Below is my initial attempt at Allegro back in June of last year and my second attempt. I am able to play the song at a faster tempo but not quite at 100% yet. I focused on the dynamics of the song but not sure how successful I was. There a few mistakes in the latest version as well.
January 14, 2019 at 9:50 pm #23039ukulelelooParticipantHi,
There are a few songs that I would like to go back and work on and for the month of January, I would like to go back and work on Allegro’ by Mauro Giuliani.
1. Execution: Based on your feedback from the June Challenge, I would like to work on feel and dynamic of my playing.
2. Application: Since I have forgotten the song, I will need to refresh my memory and work on adding dynamic to my playing with individual notes versus dynamics in bars. (I may have questions as I go 🙂 ).
3. Evaluation: I will record my progress towards the end of the month and compare to my previous attempt from the June Challenge.

Hi Everyone!
Happy Holidays! Here is my entry for this month. I chose We Three Kings, so I can keep working on the pull offs and hammer ons. There’s quite a few mistakes in this one, yikes. I definitely need another month to work on this piece.

December 12, 2018 at 10:38 pm #21138ukulelelooParticipantHi Andrew,
Thanks for the feedback and the tips on the pull off and hammer on, I’ll definitely add that to my practice.
I think my name is missing in the list for the KANILE’A ENTRIES.
Thanks. Happy Holidays!

Here’s my entry for November’s challenge. I initially wanted to learn Moon but have been traveling most of November and ran out of time, so I learned La Gitanita. Still needs some work.

Here’s my entry for this month’s challenge. I’m playing St. Infirmary. Struggled a bit with moving up and down the fret while playing the notes clearly. Definitely needs more work to smooth out some transitions.
