AndrewKeymasteryenting, great job! Picking form looks excellent! The only tip I can suggest, is to try to smooth out the tempo between the 2 styles, as straight was played much quicker than swung. Keep rocking and thanks for the kind words!
AndrewKeymasterHi Al, sorry to hear about your condition. I def plan to do that song, but am holding off until I get my low G ukulele, as it will be much better suited for that tuning.
Unfortunately, no. Courses require internet access to view the video/article content. Thanks for the kind words, glad to hear you enjoy the site ๐
AndrewKeymasterLisa, I think due to the size of the ukulele, they don’t ring as pronounced as they would on acoustic guitar. But, they should be audible. And yes, plugged in helps to amplify the effect.

AndrewKeymasterAwesomeStrings, good job! Here is a video with some tips that should help a lot of folks to better tackle the SpongeBob Rhythm – specifically eighth note triplets.
mweir1, Mairi nicely played! You have a clear understanding of the difference between straight verse swung rhythm, well done!
lisadmh, excellent job on the technique! Here’s a little suggestion for relaxing the feel.
cait23, great job! Here are some tips for you ๐
deadbuggy, really cool changes! 1 tip, if you check out the video I left for awesome strings above, that advice will help you tidy up the rhythm for the outro. But again, I loved it! I always love it when you guys take it and make it your own ๐
strizaldo, excellent playing! You’ve definitely got this one mastered, well done! I’ll be sharing this in our email tomorrow ๐
rickeymike, well done! You’ve got the difference in feels down. The only thing I would work on is to eliminate some of the pauses. So key in on those areas for your practicing. Keep up the great work!
kanae926, love the tone of the New uke Kanni! And, I thought you did really well ๐ I think if you slow down the tempo a little bit, it would allow you to focus more on keeping the flow steady which in turn will help to further differentiate both feels.
AndrewKeymasterThank you, really appreciate it!
AndrewKeymasterThanks for the feedback guys! He said it is possible! He’s tied up atm working on other projects, but can begin soon on it. Keep you posted ๐
AndrewKeymasterWelcome Lambert! Happy to have you on-board ๐
AndrewKeymasterAwesome! Glad that all is working and the icon was a nice touch. The developer suggested it, glad he did!

So I had an idea to further develop it – right now we only have 1 master list, or 1 collection. Let me know if that is suitable, because an idea to add for the future is to allow you to have multiple collections – where you could also name them. For ex:
Classical collection
Blues collectionThis way you could better categorize your favorite lessons. Let me know if this is something you would want, or do you prefer to have just one collection (as it is now). I also have to see if this could be possible with the developer.
AndrewKeymasterCongrats, it’s beautiful! Can’t wait to hear it ๐
AndrewKeymasterHappy birthday!! In my un-biased opinion (LOL), that’s an awesome gift. But seriously, I hope you enjoy the lessons and if you need any help, I’m an email or forum post away ๐
AndrewKeymasterHey guys, the Favorites feature should work with course units now. Let me know if anything else pops up ๐

AndrewKeymasterThat’s awesome Kanni! Did you tell ’em you are with RC101? Andrew (not me, ha) runs HMS, he’s a great guy! I got my Kanile’a from them and they will be setting up and installing the pickup in my low G build Kanile’a too ๐
AndrewKeymasterThanks Zion, much appreciated! That playing style is called chord melody. Check out our course, How to Write a Song on the Ukulele, as it dives deep into how I write and arrange songs. ๐
AndrewKeymasterThanks for letting me know Rici, I submitted the error to the developer.
