lisadmhParticipantRobin, the bending is definitely due to the death grip, because I’m struggling so much to get into position. I think this will work better.

lisadmhParticipantLaura, that was awesome! I’ve reached the driving people crazy stage, but I’m nowhere near the posting stage. Kudos on reaching both stages at the same time. ☺☺ Sounds great.

lisadmhParticipant@en_joy, I think it works. My fingers are confused but I think I’ll get this one. Thank you!!

lisadmhParticipantThanks guys. Quick check in at work and now I’m dying to go home and try the alt fingering. That looks promising.
Robin, thanks! It’s my newest acquisition. I’m loving it.

lisadmhParticipantHey Andrew, do you have any tips for me on this hard chord change in Sound of Silence? I’ve been practicing daily for over a week now and my fingers just say no.
I want this song so badly, but instead I’m just playing it so badly.
lisadmhParticipantLol. I can’t do that on my little tiny sopranino
lisadmhParticipantPeople are strange!! Definitely. That would be awesome.

lisadmhParticipantGreat job, you early bloomers!!
I’m still going around in that one tough chord change.
Daaaammmmnnn, I finally got around to listening to the disturbed version of sound of silence. Inspiring, much?? If that doesn’t get me doing some dynamics, I don’t know what will. I have a dream.
lisadmhParticipantI’m just remembering this one on my wish list for a December / Christmas theme song. It’d be great on the uke. Sounds like tapped harmonics? I can’t do those, but still!
lisadmhParticipantHi Michel, welcome. They’re are a few of us Canadians here.
Are you joining us in the challenge?

lisadmhParticipantJohanna, I tried that too and it’s easier to get into but harder to get out of for the next chord for me.
It’s slowly coming along… 🙂
lisadmhParticipantBuild those finger muscles too! Maybe work some finger exercises into the routine so you get two for one.
Looks like a fun gig. ☺

lisadmhParticipantAny of the other Sound of Silence folks stuck on an endless loop of Bb 565x to F 355x?
My fingers will get it eventually, I hope!
lisadmhParticipantWow, uku. Mine was a little one day. I’d love to do one of those multi day ones. Sounds like so much fun!
I’m loving my new ukes.
