lisadmhParticipantThanks! I’d love to go to a big snazzy southern one but our humble little fest was so inspiring. If you get a chance, Becky, I highly recommend it.

lisadmhParticipantWoohoo, it’s challenge time!
I’m tempted by Sleepwalk as a stretch goal, but the Sound of Silence is 100% necessary in my repertoire so that’s what I’m doing. It’s rated beginner, so my goal is to have it super duper clean and relaxed(!!) and playable to an audience.
What a prize. I love these three month challenge stretches. There will be one happy and lucky winner at the end of it all.
As always, thank you Andrew and sponsors for making it so much fun to learn.

lisadmhParticipantAh, I’m stiff again. Fair. Thank you for reminding me, Andrew. I will try!
lisadmhParticipantI just tested myself. I have a full fret more on my left. And here I thought I want making progress. Cool!

lisadmhParticipantI never would have attempted this without the challenge. I’m glad I did! It looks super hard. It had taken intense concentration and I’m not quite there yet but next weekend is uke fest so I won’t be able to practice much more.
It’s such a high energy song, I get tired!
I didn’t do the island strum – switched that up a bit. I also added a second chord progression. Minor tweaks.

lisadmhParticipantI hope to make the live lesson, but just in case I forget…
I’m doing much better with memorizing overall, but I struggle when there are subtle variations on a theme. Those are so hard to keep sorted out. Any tips there?

lisadmhParticipantGreat job mfaske! Sounds pretty fluid to me. And jeez, if one must apologize for cat hair, I owe this group so many apologies.
Omaon, another nice rendition. You’ve got a good vibe.
The jig was clearly the most popular song this month!

lisadmhParticipantOh boy, have I got my work cut out for me this month! Different and fun. Not sure what to choose.
lisadmhParticipantI’ve thought of the voting before too. It would be a very nice feature. Sometimes the levels overestimate our abilities, lol. There are 1s I can’t do, and the occasional 3 I can do. A vote leveling system would be cool when you’re ready to add a new feature.
lisadmhParticipantWelcome to the party! The uke is such a great escape. Habe fun checking things outaround here. I hope you’ll join us in the September challenge!
lisadmhParticipantLolol. 1566? That’s a big fat no for my fingers. I can manage the 15 but I have no fingers left for the 66. Good luck!
