lisadmhParticipantOooh, pretty. I want one. 🙂 can’t wait to hear it.
lisadmhParticipantI love the favourites feature. My pick for multiple categories would be learning, wish list, and can play. And maybe a 4th that’s set list. That is how I organize tabs on my tablet, but it would be easier directly on the site so I could go to the right category for different types of practicing with that all useful tab viewer.

lisadmhParticipantI used the picado picking. I was overwhelmed by the concept at first but I think I got it? Excellent exercise for the flamenco song. It’s also cool to be using the more difficult option on a song for once rather than trying to figure out how to simplify them so I can play, lol.

lisadmhParticipantGood job hafeez! And so quickly.
Andrew, I second Rickeys the request for heart and soul in some future challenge sometime soon. I need the challenge motivation to structure myself on that one and get it down. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantThanks Rickey 🙂

lisadmhParticipantFun uke. I’m gonna practice my swing as I can’t do another month of sponge bob, lol. Beginner stuff is good for me to try to clean up. And it’s actually kinda fast. We’ll see if I can get it up to speed.
Edit. Note to anyone who thinks the beginner one it’s too easy for them. He mentions you can do the picado rest stroke thing from the flamenco song. I’m gonna try that, and throw in the fancy flamenco strum too. It’ll make it a whole lot harder for me and it might be a disaster but good prep for the flamenco. And I’m finding it oddly hilarious. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantMy goal was to build on and clean up my original tune. I built on it, but I ended up making it to hard for me. I tend to curse Andrew for always putting at least one hard thing in but it’s not his fault, the music requires it. 🙂
So instead I wrote a new original tune and tabs for it.
It’s definitely beginner level. It’s loaded with stock chords to help the beginner, but breaks out up the neck a bit. It’s got intentional longer notes to help with harder chord changes. I don’t have a name for it yet. The metronome suggests it’s in 3 4 time, but I’m not sure about that. I wish I knew more theory.
This songwriting thing is a blast. Be nice, I know I’m a total complete beginner at this! Just messing around.
lisadmhParticipantThanks both. It’s a great tune, and a great G workout Sabine. You’ll get it!
lisadmhParticipantWelcome to the site Tim! There’s lots of learning and fun here. Glad to have you on board.
lisadmhParticipantFor me, yes to low g. I have my new uke here and nothing to play.
No to u bass. Not on my list.
Absolutely to reading standard notation. For sure! Very exiting.
Love the beginner songs. I can work through intermediate but it’s nice to have some I can pick up quickly.
More indie/ alternative would be awesome.
I love everything you do around here. Looking forward to the next 6 months!!

lisadmhParticipantCongrats kaizendon! I hope you’ll let us hear it in action!
lisadmhParticipantGreat job! Welcome to the site. There’s oodles of fun to be had around here. ☺☺
lisadmhParticipantThanks Rickey! I’m a horrible singer though. 😢
I started adding a new bit to it this morning. I want it longer. I’m like… What would Andrew do? Lol
lisadmhParticipantThanks both! I’ve been playing for about a year and three months. Rockclass since the beginning.
lisadmhParticipantThis song would be awesome for uke.
