shmu88Participantok…i’m done learning “A fifth of Beethoven” and was doing “fine” at 80% speed, but 90% is slugging and 100% is just impossible. I’ve been doing the “picato” technique with index and middle finger but i’ve juste realized that you HAVE to do the “pick” technique with index and thumb to match the speed, but i find it really hard to be accurate and not to hit other strings with that technique…
There is no question lol i just wanted to share my despair as I think I won’t be able to play it as well as i hoped for 🙁March 12, 2022 at 12:19 pm in reply to: Participate in the March 2022 Member Challenge – Theme: Movie Magic! #51151
shmu88ParticipantHi there!
Here’s my entry for this month 🙂
The Godfather
shmu88ParticipantThanks surferjay! 🙂
I’ll go try them tomorrow! I have small fingers and only played Soprano so far so I’m worried about owning a Tenor, that’s why I was aiming toward concert for now. Maybe when/if I get used to it the step to a Tenor will seem easier haha.
shmu88ParticipantThanks for the advice Kanae!

Hi all,
Since I filmed myself last week performing Crossing Hemisphere, I’ll use it for this month’s challenge (is that cheating haha?), but i’m looking forward to learn and practice Wouldn’t it be nice!
Happy Challenge everyone

shmu88Participant“Just the two of us” (Bill Withers)! Probably an advanced lesson… just ask Evan to work his magic ;)!

Wow this month’s challenge is NOT easy 😮
I tried James Bond’s theme, even though it is too hard for my level. Here is the best of my [way too many] attempts. I have a Soprano uke that only goes up to the 15 fret so the horns (variation) and the outro sections aren’t great obviously…sorry about that! I guess I need a new uke…if only there was a prize to win for Christmas …wink wink 😉Enjoy guys 🙂
