@andrew thanks for the feedback last month.As for this month, what a great new technique to learn. I’m so grateful for these monthly challenges because it “forces” me to learn new things. Anyway, I guess I have to have an actual video of me playing if you’re going to critique my technique. Anxiety was through the roof. I hope I’m doing it right.

Great job by everyone so far! I did Freight Train because I just love the rhythm. Unfortunately, my rhythm is not so good. I’m out the next rest of July, so this is my best shot.

I’m so grateful for the Bodysurfing tutorial. Thank you Evan and Andrew! It’s a song I have been wanting to play for a long, long time. It’s way above my skill level, but I was determined to learn it. In the recording, I fell apart near the end, but I couldn’t bear to re-record it, especially after barely making it through the riff. Thank you RockClass101, you guys are the best!

I really wish I was at a level where I could play moonlight sonata. A future goal for sure!Waltz in C is definitely more my level, so here it is.
Here is my attempt at shortnin bread. The claw hammer is so unique, and Christopher is an excellent teacher, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to master it. But I had fun learning it, and that’s all that matters, right?

Thank you so much for the feedback. I get so nervous when recording that I get these brain freezes. I hope that I eventually overcome this and will be able to record an actual video.

I also want to say that the arrangements of all the songs here are beautiful and masterful, but yet you also do a great teaching them! What you have here is very special and I’m so glad I found it! A month ago, I literally could only play C F G7 chord songs. When I watch the videos, at the beginning I think “There is no way I can play this”. But by the end, “Ok, I think I can do this!” You break everything down so well into manageable pieces. Thank you for all that you do and this wonderful community you have built up.

I have definitely improved some since my sound of silence submission last month. Still have trouble with a few chord changes, but I think this is as good as I can do right now.
