Hello! Here is my very slow and occasionally inadvertently ad libbed version of Yesterday. I hope to smooth it out in the next while but wanted to submit it in time. Thank you so much for the great tab and challenge!
Also, it’s a ton of fun and inspiraion watching the other submissions. So much talent out there. Cheers!April 27, 2022 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Participate in the April 2022 Member Challenge – WIN $6,000 Kanile’a Ukulele #51689

Hello Andrew and Rock Class folk! Thank you so much for this challenge. I love this tune with the bass backing tracks at two speeds. So handy. I always use the looper on the play along tracks to dig into the tougher bits. It is super helpful. A bit more time will smooth out my effort, but there it is. Oh my, that Kanile’a is ear and eye candy at its finest. What a prize! Thank you again.
ukuleleeParticipantHi folks,
My vote is for Crazy. Shallow is the runner up. I do not know Pure Imagination, but I am excited to check it out! Happy Friday

Hi folks at Rock Class 101. Just to let you know, I decided to play this barn burner really slow so it would be easier to note all the spots that need improvement. That way, I can learn from them…🤗
P.s. in all seriousness, thank you for another fun challenge! Phew! Got some work to do!

ukuleleeParticipantHi Andrew and crew,
I’ve really enjoyed being a part of rock class 101. I’ve learned a lot, songs, inspiration and insight. One thing I’d really like to improve on next year is how to add fills, single or double note lead ins and outs between chords, and other fancy bits. I play with a couple uke groups and would just like to learn a few embellishments for the usual and popular uke songs and/or keys. ave a healthy, happy holiday season!

ukuleleeParticipantThank you Andrew for the feedback, it is very useful. I will work on my index finger in Melodic Etude, and try to memorize pieces. I’d say memorizing has become VERY difficult in the last few years. Definitely worth improving, especially for performing. Cheers
