Hi!
I chose the “walking bass lines” lesson. I had a really fun time learning them, but I have a long way to go when it comes to smoothing them out. In any case, I’m inspired to try more of the concept lessons from this challenge.

Here’s Bella Vita. When I first started learning this song I had no clue how I was going to get my fingers into some of the chord shapes…yet persistence prevails.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas” is one of my favorite holiday tunes. Loved learning it. Included a flub or two in my recording for kicks.

Thanks, Andrew! I misinterpreted the 3x at the end of the piece to mean repeat three times after playing the bar through the first time. Anyway, really enjoyed this mini lesson. I like what syncopation does to my mind!
