coffeemugParticipantHi!
I am a premium member.
So enjoyed learning this étude. And appreciate Steven’s instructional video, because I learned fingerings that I would have never come up with on my own. Tried to do additional takes after this one, attempting to infuse more (or some?) rubato in my playing, but kept screwing up so will leave this one here as is.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

coffeemugParticipantHi! I had fun learning Christopher’s arrangement. As usual, recording a clean take is a challenge. This is the least flubby:

coffeemugParticipantHi, everyone—
I had to put down the uke for a few months because of some tendinitis I developed in my thumb. Things are better now and I’m glad to be back.
Thanks for the fun etude!

coffeemugParticipantThanks for the feedback, Andrew. Yep, I was going for the rubato. I guess I went overboard.

I’m so impressed with all the first time posters. Way to jump in with both feet and your uke!

I struggled mightily getting a half decent take for this challenge. Wish the recording reflected my enjoyment learning Steven’s arrangement. I really enjoy his teaching style.
Have a safe holiday, uke friends! 2021 is right around the corner!

coffeemugParticipantAndrew, many thanks for the helpful feedback! When I first started Rock Class I had a lot of timing issues, so I think I’ve been overcompensating by paying too much attention to timing and the beat. It seems this has suppressed my inherent grooviness! I will implement your suggestions. Much appreciated!

coffeemugParticipantHi, friends!
I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER.
I’m a big Peter, Paul, and Mary fan so I loved learning this arrangement. Wish my performance was cleaner. I felt like I got a little sloppy the second time through melody B, but this is probably my best recording of the attempts I made this morning.
Thanks!
