Hmmm. Any song. This requires deep thought and consideration….

Congrats on the new friends. They’re both beautiful. The little guy is adorable. What an adventure with new fingering on the bari. Have fun!

I add that I would like the many Etudes to earn titles. They’re some of my favorite pieces and they deserve names 🙂 Remembering I can do 12 and 13 but not 11 is hard. Coming up with a name is hard too…

I love the bricks and mortar that this place was built on. Chord melody songs and lessons in a variety of genres and levels. There could never be too much of that. I love the standard ukulele progress I’m making through these songs and lessons.

I know there are so many things one could do but I love the basics. Additions like singing and ubass and such aren’t of interest to me. When there are too many other things going on, it can take a longer time for something new to come out that’s more standard.

You’re an amazing teacher, Andrew. We’re learning a lot, and your teaching keeps improving too. I can see quite a difference from your earlier lessons (they’re still great but the new ones are even better!)

I can’t wait to see the baddest course!

Thank you for all you do.

Ukukelly, I’ve seen that and been tempted but do they get more interesting? I find that one a little bland. I practice Andrew’s Etude 1 that way for warm up or just mindless zoning out on the uke and it’s so pretty.

Miztaken, you sound much more systematic than I am. You will go far!

Anne, isn’t taimaine amazing? I discovered her I this site. Oh to be that good at anything. We’ll get there, *cough*

Actually, my e folder organization has become a mess since Andrew added favorites I realize. It’s so easy to reproduce the organization on the site, I just log in and download again, and everything I do is on here. I need to do something about that…

My folders both in favorites and on my tablet are Set List, Learning, and Wish List.

I’ve always kept something play ready since I first started because I like to stop in to music stores and try out their ukes. That’s another good reason to have a few ready. Even if you’re not buying, it’s loads of fun to go into a store and try them out and turn a few heads. My local store guy knows me now and congress over to chat.

I also do it because we work so hard on these songs… I don’t wanna lose them. Some I lose but I keep practicing my favorites to keep them alive.

Great idea guys. I’m all organized on my tablet for RC101 songs, but I have some messy sheets and scribbles around that I should clean up.

Ukukelly, thanks for thinking I’m cool, but most of my “set list” is still technical in work, with bits to clean up. 2019 goal, to have a more polished performance for next year’s holiday party!

I’m tempted by that arppegios book but I keep accumulating books and only playing RC101…

I request something by AC/DC in level 2 or lower. My wild fan is begging you.

He got me a book but it’s all strum strum strum and I can’t do anything with it.

    Thanks for considering!

Hmm. Good idea. I should add making tiny changes to songs to my goals list. Gently bump up the musical independence. I have no idea what I’m doing from a theory perspective but I’ve managed to write a few songs so I can make tweaks. Thanks for the idea. We’ve got this.

Congrats Felix! Please let us hear it in action! 😁

Thanks for the chance Andrew! It was fun dreaming and it’s great to see a fellow member win. Plus there’s all those ukulele kids club uke – lots of ukuleles going around this year! Spreading the joy, one pick at a time.

Today’s the day folks. We’ve been working on this for three months. There will be one lucky winner today, but we’ve all won by learning these fun challenges. Fingers crossed for everyone (but maybe extra crossed for one or two of us!! 😁😁😁😁)

I have to remember to tune in to the announcement if I can swing it. I hope to see a bunch of you there!

Thinking of you Kay. I hope you find comfort with family. Life can really suck sometimes…. But better times are ahead.

What would y’all recommend for the low g? I think I have aquila reds. It’s a wound low g and it’s really boomy. Huge sustain that overpowers everything even with a basic strum. Is the freemont less boomy?

Sprint, I change more than necessary. It staves off the ukulele acquisition syndrome. Andrew talked about string changes in the last (?) lightening round.

Wow 75 entries! It’s great to see so many people out. How ate we doing for ukulele kids club? I finally donated today.

Olphart, so camera fright sticks around even with the pros huh? You did a great job!

Why not just get a new strap button for the soprano and leave the concert as is? They’re so cheap. I wouldn’t risk it for a few bucks.
