robinboydParticipantOh yeah. The Eagles block everything!
I can’t help with technique. I observed the same things as you, but I don’t have any insight about how to achieve it.
robinboydParticipantNice job!

robinboydParticipant2 months!!!!! I’m so jealous! I couldn’t even maintain a basic strum after 2 months.

robinboydParticipantWell, don’t pay extra just for a built in tuner. You can easily get a decent clip on one for $20. As for the other concerns, I’m like you. I just play for myself and don’t really perform, so I don’t bother with pickups, etc. A cutaway might be good to have, though.

There. I remembered to write it.
It’s not perfect and I was thinking about re-recording tomorrow, but it will do for now.
Here is Dream State
robinboydParticipantWelcome back! I’d also like to see your collection. Also, what is the American Siberia? I’m only familiar with the Russian one…
robinboydParticipantI like to add harmonics wherever possible. I say go for it!
robinboydParticipantHi Sir_anzalot
I just had a bit of a fiddle with it, and while it is probably possible, I don’t think it would be easy to do it. When he plays the higher version, he plays a whole octave higher. Until the strumming bit at the end, the highest Matt’s melody goes is the 2nd fret on the A string, and the 4th fret on the C string, so if you had a long enough fretboard (like most tenor fretboards), you could just move everything up 12 frets, so that would mean playing the first Em chord as 14 15 16 12 (or 14 15 16 X or 14 15 16 0, etc.) Unfortunately, both my ukes with enough frets to try that are strung low G, which makes it difficult. Still, that’s where I’d start.

robinboydParticipantThank you for telling Sara to do the extra pull off. That makes sense to me too.

robinboydParticipantI’m really embarrassed by this. It’s really really messy, but I ran out of time, so here it is.
robinboydParticipantThank you. Actually, that piece is easier than it sounds. It’s definitely worth having a go.
robinboydParticipantNice!
robinboydParticipantJust wondering, but why do you want it transposed? If you just play the songs as they are, you will get the same thing in a different key. Most of them are instrumentals, so it’s not like it affects your singing or anything.
