ukandreaParticipant@Steven: Thanks so much for your feedback. I will try your tip for sure, that was a miss I was not aware myself.
@Andrew: I just got the information how to donate to Ukulele Kids Club France and transferred 40 EUR. I am not sure if you counted me yet.@all German members:
I am in contact with the CEO of the Ukulele Kids Club to start an Ukulele Kids Club in Germany. In case you want to team up with me and have experience in how to set up something for collecting money or if you know any music therapists in Germany or a hospital supporting musical healing please email to Andrew and ask him to forward to me, so that we can get in direct contact.Thank you and Merry Christmas to all of you!

Wham! Here comes my entry for this month’s challenge:
I am celebrating today my 2-year-progress plus that I reached my goal to participate in each monthly challenge.
There is still so much to learn and to improve but I am proud and happy with how far I came.
It would not have been possible without this great music school, I never regretted to sign up for Premium Membership. I am looking forward to the new courses in 2022!Best,
Andrea
ukandreaParticipantAdditionally to what you have already planned I’d find it super interesting to learn how to create arrangements of know songs. And I guess each of your teachers has another/own way how to do it like to start with the melody and then adding chords. Or starting with just chords, then adding the melody notes. Or search for existing notes and build on that etc.
Thank you for considering,

ukandreaParticipant@bibilele: Congratulations, seems like we had a shared goal for the year 😉 I did not count but my guess would be that around 10 members made each of this year’s challenges?
@Andrew: As I started so late with Last Christmas I am still working on getting the whole song memorized and playing through it flawlessly. So my official posting for qualifying is still to come. For the moment I would like to share my chorus only version as I had to do the recording anyway for a virtual Christmas party and I hope to get feedback on it to incorporate for the next recording attempt.
Thank you,

ukandreaParticipantGreat playing and singing so far!
I still have to start learning for my December entry as I was busy in the past weeks with learning “All I Want for Christmas is You”, which you can find in the showcase for playing forum https://rockclass101.com/forums/topic/all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you/. Any feedback for improvement would be highly welcome.I have reached out to the Ukulele Kids Club to donate one Uke = 40 EUR = 50 USD to my French neighbor country UKC France.

ukandreaParticipantThank you @Andrew for passing on my feedback to Steven.
And to @Steven for your additional feedback! I am really very happy with the Anuenue, thanks again for your insights into your experience with your uke(s) and string choices. That was very helpful. Looking forward to your next tutorials.

Great song choice but quite challenging this month.
So I decided to go for the Etude and focus on improving and practicing techniques. It is super satisfying and relaxing to play this Etude. I cannot stop repeating it again and again.
I highly suggest to watch Steven’s in-depth-tutorial even if you could just play it from the notes. There are so many hidden treasures for improving skills.
Best,
Andrea
ukandreaParticipant@Andrew: Your wish is my command, but now you will get another leading instrument in the middle part – surprise…
That was lots of fun!

ukandreaParticipant@andyrose I also use a FocusRight Scarlett: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07QR6Z1JB/
I am very happy with it.
It came together with the software Ableton Live 10 Lite.I record the video with iPhone12mini, record the sound with the Ukulele plucked into the FocusRight Scarlett, that records into the Ableton Live software on my iMac.
Then I export the audio file from Ableton. In iMovie I import the audio file and the iPhone video and replace the iPhone’s audio line with the one from the Ableton export.
When I play the non-electric Uke I have the same setup but pluck in a condensation microphone into the Scarlett instead. I use this one: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B089SX1DX2/
I hope this helps,
