lisadmhParticipantIn case I miss it… Low G on a soprano, good or bad? Should it only be on a bigger uke? My low G is tenor right now.
lisadmhParticipantWelcome Bob! You’re in the right place to learn finger picking. The team had been releasing a lot of low G songs this year. I love low G too.
Check out our monthly challenge. That’s where we mostly hang out. ☺ Fun songs there every month.

lisadmhParticipantCongratulations lisotta!
lisadmhParticipantWelcome, Grace! You can do a lot with a basic little uke. Andrew’s earliest lessons were on a little Makala and they’re great. The flea is fun.
Enjoy the site. Good luck with the challenge. It’s a big motivator! I look forward to seeing your submission.
lisadmhParticipantVery cool. Thanks for sharing, Stephen. I don’t have a ubass (yet) but I’m intrigued.
lisadmhParticipantHi Sarah. Welcome to the club! I started here as an absolute beginner too and I’ve learned so much.
Check out the monthly challenge. A new challenge just went up and it has a beginner song on the list. Challenges are great for motivation. You don’t have to be perfect by the end of the month – few of us are! It’s participation that counts. 🙂

lisadmhParticipantJina, you’re amazing! What a rock star. Thank you for entertaining us.
Mary Jane, you’ve worked hard. You’re almost there With putting it all together. You can be proud of your progress!
Kirpuff, that was a great take of a really hard song. I’m impressed. I’ll get to your level some day. Bonus points for the cat.
lisadmhParticipantWelcome! Have fun exploring. Check out the monthly challenge. It’s great fun. You’re rather late for this month, but there will be a new one in a couple of days. Hope to see you there.

lisadmhParticipantThere are drums? What did I miss? I don’t see or hear drums.

lisadmhParticipantThanks Andrew. I had a feeling that was happening but I was in denial. I’ll work on it. It’s early enough I might be able to post an updated video.

lisadmhParticipantI am a dedicated PREMIUM MEMBER.
Here’s what I’ve got. I love this song. It’s far from perfect but I’m not improving anymore so I thought I’d post for feedback. I had a head start as I’ve been poking on this song since it was released, so for the last two weeks I’ve just been trying to clean it up.
I learned to play the g string with my thumb for the tricky build up. Although that’s not the way it was taught and I went rogue, I wanted to learn that, and this seemed like a good place to do it.
I’d appreciate feedback on cleaning it up and making it sound a bit less amateur. Thanks!
lisadmhParticipantHey There Delilah please
