In case I miss it… Low G on a soprano, good or bad? Should it only be on a bigger uke? My low G is tenor right now.

Check out the monthly challenge. A new challenge just went up and it has a beginner song on the list. Challenges are great for motivation. You don’t have to be perfect by the end of the month – few of us are! It’s participation that counts. 🙂

Here’s what I’ve got. I love this song. It’s far from perfect but I’m not improving anymore so I thought I’d post for feedback. I had a head start as I’ve been poking on this song since it was released, so for the last two weeks I’ve just been trying to clean it up.
I learned to play the g string with my thumb for the tricky build up. Although that’s not the way it was taught and I went rogue, I wanted to learn that, and this seemed like a good place to do it.
I’d appreciate feedback on cleaning it up and making it sound a bit less amateur. Thanks!
